This is a new section of our web site, launched in the summer of 2010. In this section we want to deal with some of the issues that come along after you are fired, or resign. For some of you, after a period of healing you will return to full-time ministry - although I will admit, those of you that do so will be less that 50%.
Much of the rest of the web site deals with the emotional and spiritual devastation of burnout or deep wounding, so in this section we want to develop a good working resource for you in two areas.
(1) How do I make a living now?
(2) Other approaches to worshiping God for those who may have given up on the institutional church.

I would love to see many articles come in from those of you out there who have had to re-launch your life and working careers. Briefly tell your story in one paragraph, then launch into how you got back to work, or launched a business etc. Give easy to follow directions and recommendations that others can follow should they try your business, or path, or further education. Pass this idea around to others so we can build a good library of helpful articles for the newly unemployed.
I also ask some of you to write brief articles telling how ministry doesn’t stop just because you no longer are employed by a church or ministry. Most, if not all of us, have found our opportunities to serve the lost and the saved have only increased since being fired or resigning! Let’s encourage others with our stories.

Many of you will find a new home in your same denomination or institutional church, but not all of you! Some of you never want to see the inside of an institutional church again, as long as you live - which is for eternity! Ha, ha! This section will provide some suggestions, but in no way do we mean to have all the answers to your disillusionment! Buyer beware as the old saying goes.
